Today is climbing day and I take my kids to a local climbing wall – and I do a bit of climbing myself when they are in the kids’ club.
In the loo I noticed the toilet roll, and I that reminded me of the kindness of others.
I’m sure we’ve all been in the situation where we find out too late that there is no loo roll – it’s not a great experience.Someone put the toilet roll there and I benefited from their actions, so for me they were kind.
We don’t know each other, and it may be that they had no intention to be kind to me, and it’s their job in any case. But that doesn’t matter as far as I am concerned. What matters is that my life has been made a little easier by someone else, We are surrounded by the evidence of the kindness of others, and we should develop a deep sense of gratitude towards others.
May I never forget or overlook the kindness of others.
