I was in a ‘vintage’ shop today. Lots and lots of things that used to belong to somebody. Those people have probably passed away and their belongings have found their way to these kinds of shops.

I found so many Dharma lessons in this. 

  
But the main thing that struck me was how everything we covet, hunt for, obtain or collect – everything we gather over a lifetime – everything slips out of our grasp when we die. In the end, trying to find happiness through the acquisition of material possessions is fruitless.  

May we all find inner peace – the true cause of happiness.
